Hanyu pinyin in English

Hanyu Pinyin (; ) is the official system to transcribe Chinese characters into Latin script in the People's Republic of China, Republic of China (Taiwan), Singapore, and Malaysia. It is often used to teach Mandarin Chinese and spell Chinese names in foreign publications and used as an input method to enter Chinese characters (汉字 / 漢字, hànzì) into computers.

hanyu pinyin, normalmente llamado pinyin es el sistema de transcripción oficial del chino mandarín. En lugar de utilizarse los símbolos chinos, se usan letras del alfabeto latino para escribir el "sonido" de las palabras chinas.
